Chris  remains  active  with  his  alma  mater,  Brigham Young University,  and has taught adult and youth courses  for  their  con-tinuing education programs.  He is an Eagle Scout and contributes his time to the Boy Scouts of America and Little League.  Chris has been married for 33 years and is the proud father of 10 children and 10 grandchildren.

Chris began his career in  the financial services  industry  in 1982 becoming licensed in insurance and registered in securities with First American National Securities Corporation.    Within  a  short  time  he attained  the  position  of  regional vice president.  Since then he has concentrated his efforts in  the  financial and estate planning arenas.  Chris spent 1 ½ years with one of  the most prominent law  offices in San Diego as their Medi-Cal specialist and marketing director.   Prior to entering the investment industry, Chris purchased and successfully operated a  profitable retail  business in Utah in 1977.   He has been the  featured  guest  on  radio  talk  shows and on the Fox Channel 6 “Weekend” program.   Chris has presented seminars to many senior centers,  hospitals,  discharge planners,  and support groups on the topic of Medi-Cal qualification.

R. Chris Packard  has spent the last 15 years assisting the senior citizen community in the area of  Medi-Cal qualification to help prevent  the  serious  challenge  of spousal impoverishment in the event of catastrophic illness.
